Basin
1. A container for holding or collecting fluids. For example, a bean-shaped basin is used in medical settings to collect vomit.

2. The shape of the pelvis. The pelvis is a massive bone made of hip bones on each side and the front, while the back part is made of the sacrum (a triangular bone) and coccyx (a beak shaped bone). Basin comes from the Latin word "bacca" meaning "water vessel."
