Habitus means the physical characteristics, body-build, or appearance of a person. An example would be an athletic habitus, in which the person would appear muscular. Habitus can also be used to describe the appearance of someone who seems likely to develop a disease, with the name of the disease coming before the word "habitus." Habitus is Latin for "appearance."
