Ichor is a rarely used term for a thin, watery fluid that is released from a sore, an unhealthy wound, or from an ulcer (an open sore). Ichor comes from the Greek word "ichor" meaning "serum," which is any clear, watery fluid that has been separated from its more solid parts.
