A kinesimeter is an instrument used to measure the extent of a movement. A kinesimeter is also known as a kinesiometer. Kinesimeter comes from the Greek word "kinesis" meaning "motion," and the Greek word "metron" meaning "measure." Put the two words together and you have "measure motion."
