Macrocheiria is a condition that is characterized by abnormally large hands. Macrocheiria is also known as macrochiria, cheiromegaly, chiromegaly, megalocheiria, and megalochiria. Macrocheiria comes from the Greek word "makros" meaning "large," and the Greek word "cheir" meaning "hand." Put the two words together and you have "large hand."
