Sanguinopurulent
A term that describes matter that oozes out of the body which contains blood and pus. Pus is a yellow or green creamy substance sometimes found at the site of infections. Sanguinopurulent comes from the Latin word "sanguis" meaning "blood," and the Latin word "purulentus" meaning "to make pus." Put the words together and you have "to make pus (and) blood."
