Tmax
Abbreviation for the maximum (max) temperature (T). So if you have a fever and the doctor asked his assistant what your Tmax is, all the doctor wants to know is what your highest temperature has been all day. If the highest temperature that you had that day was 102 degrees, then the correct answer to the doctor's question would be 102. Compare Tmax to Tmin, which is an abbreviation for temperature minimum (the lowest temperature).
