Volar
Pertaining to the palm of the hand or the sole (bottom) of the foot. Both the palm of the hand and the sole of the foot are known as the vola. Volar is also known as volaris, plantaris, and plantar. However, plantaris and plantar only refer to the sole of the foot. Volar comes from the Latin word "vola" meaning "palm" or "sole."
