Zelotypia
An excessive zeal (passionate pursuit) for any cause, to the point of causing sickness. Zelotypia comes from the Greek word "zelos" meaning "zeal," and the Greek word "typto" meaning "strike." Put the two words together and you get "strike (with) zeal."
