Zeoscope
A device that is used to determine the amount of alcohol in a liquid. It does this by determining the exact boiling point of the liquid that contains the alcohol. Zeoscope comes from the Greek word "zeo" meaning "to boil," and the Greek word "skopeo" meaning "to examine." Put the two words together and you get "to examine to boil." This does not translate perfectly into its current meaning, but you likely see the connection.
