Zoogeography
The study of where animals are found on the earth. More specifically, zoogeography deals with the study of the relationship between specific animals and the regions of the world that they live in. Zoogeography comes from the Greek word "zoon" meaning "animal," the Greek word "ge" meaning" earth," and the Greek word "graphein" meaning "to write." Put the words together and you have "to write (about) animal(s) (on) earth."
